... It's the week where Twitter and Facebook changed the course of Iran!....

If we can believe the hype that Twitter (and related social media) have propelled protests, instigated riots, united youth, and most importantly, made public an even greater electoral fraud that Florida 2000 in the US of A.

While some say that nations like US and UK with our technological eroticism are more sexed up for the underdogs (in Iran or Moldovo) using similar tech as ours - we relate to the kids who "text 140" in their twitter accounts and their fight, because it is easier to relate to than the dictatorial leaders.

I think it may be more of the school of MARSHALL MCLUHAN and his infamous "The Medium is the Message." The Democratizing of Communication - allowing swift info outside of controllable channels like state controlled TV - is forcing democratization to be more level playing field. That is why China's leaders controls what filters through their web so much.
