Posting Affiliate Links Like You Are Playing Slot Machines

Sir Twitalot will follow all kinds of Twitterers, just to see
what they are adding to the quilt of consciousness - at
140 characters a stitch - but Sir T sometimes FLINCHES
at the constant, Obsessive Compulsive Tweets that
are nothing more than Affiliate Links.

I can't understand why the person would think this incessant
hebephrenic bombardment of his or her followers
with links to sales pages would make anyone except the
similarly communication-challenged want to continue
following you.

I can only imagine their conversation in real life.
"Would you like to buy this?"
"Thank you. How about you? Would like to buy this?"
"Fantastic! Let me show you this thing to buy."
"I bought that and it is good, but not as good as this thing..."
AD NAUSEUM.

Now here's the funny part.
See this poll on how most purchase decisions are made:
It's not by sending URL-shortened links over and over.
